What was once a cramped, awkward kitchen—featuring a corner sink, jutting peninsula, and oppressive crossbeam—became a spacious, bright contemporary hub with zoned cooking/clean-up areas, custom maple cabinets, quartz counters, illuminated display soffits for hula awards and instruments, and abundant natural light. A true showcase of functional island living for kumu hula Nani Lim-Yap and family.
